What is the MNTB ?
Since its inception in 1937, the Merchant Navy Training Board
(MNTB) has existed as the shipping industry's body for developing and promoting the
training and qualification of seafarers.
Today, the MNTB is the authoritative centre of expertise and information on careers,
qualifications, training opportunities, training provision and skill needs and issues in
the industry.
